More About Me
My name is Ruby, and I’ve been a nanny for over 10 years, both in the UK and UAE. I come from a family deeply rooted in childcare—one of four children, with two of my sisters working as nannies and a mother who teaches childcare. Growing up in a family of child carers meant that caring for babies and young children was never just a job to me; it was part of everyday life from a very young age.
Throughout my nannying career, I had the opportunity to work with families of all shapes, sizes, and dynamics, supporting children across different cultures, routines, and parenting styles. During this time, I naturally became the “go-to” person for sleep within the families I worked with. I successfully sleep trained many babies and toddlers and began to notice something that truly sparked my curiosity—while some techniques worked beautifully for certain children, the very same approaches didn’t work at all for others.
Wanting to understand why, I began exploring the world of infant and toddler sleep more deeply. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a passion as I discovered the science behind sleep training, child development, and sleep behaviour. Learning how biology, temperament, environment, and family dynamics all influence sleep completely changed the way I supported families.
This journey led me to make a pivotal decision: to step away from full-time nannying and dedicate myself to helping as many families as possible through sleep consultancy. By becoming a certified infant and toddler sleep consultant, I was able to combine my practical, real-life experience with evidence-based sleep science—offering parents a truly balanced, informed, and compassionate approach.
I work closely with parents who are navigating the often overwhelming and exhausting world of infant and toddler sleep. I understand firsthand how sleep deprivation affects not only children, but the entire family. My approach is gentle, practical, and completely tailored to each family’s unique needs, values, and lifestyle—because sleep support should never be one-size-fits-all.
My mission is to provide guided, hands-on support throughout the entire sleep training journey. I create personalised sleep plans that evolve with your child and adapt to your family, while empowering parents with the knowledge, confidence, and reassurance they need. My goal is not just better sleep, but healthy, sustainable sleep that supports your child’s development and restores balance, rest, and confidence within your home.
